The journal provides a professional platform for physicians, surgeons, nurses, clinical researchers, academic faculty, residents, and allied healthcare professionals to communicate original research findings, clinical case reports, surgical techniques, and interdisciplinary developments in medicine and surgery.

Manuscripts may be empirical, clinical, experimental, quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method, provided they make a meaningful contribution to clinical knowledge, patient care, surgical practice, or public health.

All manuscripts submitted to AJOAMS are initially screened by the editorial office for relevance, originality, formatting, plagiarism, language quality, ethical compliance, and adherence to journal guidelines. Manuscripts found suitable are evaluated through an external double-blind peer-review process.
