Authors' Responsibilities
- Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been plagiarized
- Manuscripts must not be under consideration by any other journal simultaneously
- All authors listed must have made substantial contributions to the work
- Authors must disclose all financial and personal conflicts of interest
- Data fabrication and falsification are strictly prohibited
- Proper acknowledgment of other works and citations is required
- Research involving human subjects must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki
- Informed consent must be documented where applicable
Editors' Responsibilities
- Decisions on manuscripts are based solely on academic merit
- Editors maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts
- Editors must disclose any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves when necessary
- Editors ensure fair and unbiased peer review
- Editors respond to ethical complaints and take appropriate action
Reviewers' Responsibilities
- Reviews must be conducted objectively and confidentially
- Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest
- Reviewers should not use unpublished information from manuscripts for personal advantage
- Reviews should be constructive and provide specific feedback
- Reviewers should alert the editor to ethical concerns
Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are screened using iThenticate plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with similarity indices above acceptable thresholds will be returned to authors or rejected.
Retraction Policy
Published articles may be retracted if:
- Clear evidence of data fabrication or falsification is found
- Significant portions are found to be plagiarized
- The findings are unreliable due to serious errors
- Copyright infringement is discovered
- Research was conducted without proper ethical oversight
Corrections and Errata
If errors are discovered after publication, authors or readers should contact the editorial office. Corrections (errata or corrigenda) will be published and linked to the original article.
