AJOAMS employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of scientific integrity and quality.
Review Process
- Initial Screening: Editor-in-Chief reviews all submissions for relevance and basic quality.
- Assignment: Suitable manuscripts are assigned to Associate Editors with relevant expertise.
- Reviewer Selection: At least two independent reviewers are selected based on expertise.
- Review: Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, methodology, and significance.
- Decision: Editors make final decisions based on reviewer recommendations.
Timeline
- Initial decision: 2-3 weeks
- Review completion: 4-6 weeks
- Final decision: 6-8 weeks
Reviewer Guidelines
Reviewers are expected to:
- Maintain confidentiality
- Declare conflicts of interest
- Provide constructive feedback
- Complete reviews within deadline
Appeals
Authors may appeal editorial decisions by providing detailed justification to the Editor-in-Chief.
