AJOAMS employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of scientific integrity and quality.

Review Process

  1. Initial Screening: Editor-in-Chief reviews all submissions for relevance and basic quality.
  2. Assignment: Suitable manuscripts are assigned to Associate Editors with relevant expertise.
  3. Reviewer Selection: At least two independent reviewers are selected based on expertise.
  4. Review: Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, methodology, and significance.
  5. Decision: Editors make final decisions based on reviewer recommendations.

Timeline

  • Initial decision: 2-3 weeks
  • Review completion: 4-6 weeks
  • Final decision: 6-8 weeks

Reviewer Guidelines

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Declare conflicts of interest

Appeals

Authors may appeal editorial decisions by providing detailed justification to the Editor-in-Chief.
